RESOLVED WONTFIX 3515
Add script for installing missing Panther headers

Summary Add script for installing missing Panther headers
Finlay Dobbie
Reported 2005-06-13 19:28:52 PDT
Panther 10.3.9 is missing needed libxml2 and libxslt headers (see Bug 3345 and Bug 3334 respectively). WebKitTools should provide an easy one-stop solution for installing these headers in order to ease getting a build environment up and running.

Created attachment 2309 [details] Proposed script + supporting resources This adds an install-missing-panther-headers script, and also includes the necessary headers (stolen from the darwinbuild roots for libxml2-16 and libxslt-8.1, which were easiest for me to get and should be close enough).

Looks like 10.3.9 shipped with libxslt-7 not libxslt-8.1, so perhaps it would be slightly more correct if this included those headers.

WebKit has moved to Xcode 2.1, and still nobody from Apple has resolve the SPI issue. It would appear that nobody is willing to do the work to make WebKit buildable on Panther.
