This bug report originated from Nokia internal issue QT-1815 --- Comments --- Product Qt Function webkit Version 4.5.2 Platform Linux Platform details Gentoo Linux qt-webkit-4.5.2 on a Core 2 Duo Compilers GCC Compiler details gcc (Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.1, pie-10.1.5) 4.3.3 Subject QWebView does not correctly display soft hyphens Steps to reproduce / test case Navigate to the following URL in the Qt browser demo http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/shytest.html You will see that while QWebView correctly breaks the line at a soft hyphen, it does not render the hyphen at the end of the broken line.
