In latest tech preview (Release 40 (Safari 11.1, WebKit 12605.1.6.0.1)) I'm frequently logged out of twitter.com, GitHub.com, Facebook.com, algolia.com and others, basically every time that tab is closed and opened in another tab. Not seeing anything any particular cookies missing. Is there more information that could be useful?

Can you find crash logs for com.apple.WebKit.Networking in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ ? This process crashing can have this symptom.

Hey Alexey, I don't see any Apple crashes in that folder.

This crash is for WebContent, which would have a different symptom. CC'ing some folks who may have an idea for what else may be causing frequent logouts.

Thanks for the report! This is a known regression in Safari Technology Preview 40 due to changes in session configuration. It was fixed in https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=177393. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 177393 ***
