Looks like this is already resolved in WebKit TOT. Closing WebKit bug as RESOLVED | WORKSFORME.

Overlooked a detail in the original report: "Although it is possible to start the video, the controls then immediately disappear and it is impossible to pause the video, or touch any other controls."

Changing title to reflect that. "AX: When HTML5 video controls are automatically hidden, they are no longer accessible to VoiceOver"

Might be resolved in TOT with the recent shadow DOM work on these controls.

Yeah, this was resolved for VoiceOver with the shadow DOM accessibility updates.
