Created attachment 198832 [details] Description posted plus complete the crash report with "Binary Images" data also listed Apple's newest (Apr 16, 2013) release of Safari for OS X 10.6.8, appears to have broken the latest version of WebKit.app (r127383) for OS X 10.6 from the WebKit Open Source Project; r127383 did work with the previous release of Safari 5.1.8 (6534.58.2) for OS X 10.6.8 (that previous compatible with WebKit.app r127383 version of Safari for OS X 10.6.8 was installed by "Security Update 2013-001 (Snow Leopard)" [ https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1642 ]). Note: The newest nightly WebKit.app r148711 gives: OS X 10.6 is not supported. Nightly builds of WebKit are not supported on OS X 10.6. at this time. So, the standard suggestion that users download the newest nightly build of WebKit.app is not (yet) a solution that can be used, at the date (Friday, Apr 19, 2013) of this posting. == Issue: After installing the Apr 16, 2013 release of Safari 5.1.9 (6534.59.8) for OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) [ https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1569 ], WebKit.app r127383 (posted 2012-09-02) for OS X 10.6 cannot be opened.
