I could be mistaken, but I believe as of now anyone with a Yahoo account can try out the beta. I did, and it definitely does not work. The error message that appears when trying to get in is as follows: Yahoo! Mail Beta experienced a login error:Login error: name:TypeError message:Value undefined (result of expression document.body.insertAdjacentHTML) is not object. This is also an evangelism issue. Yahoo has the concept of "Graded Browser Support", and Safari 2.0 should be replaced by Safari 3.0 when it is released with Leopard. http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/articles/gbs/index.html (In reply to comment #1) > I could be mistaken, but I believe as of now anyone with a Yahoo account can > try out the beta. I did, and it definitely does not work. The error message > that appears when trying to get in is as follows: This is correct. See Bug 13053 for a work-around to test. > Yahoo! Mail Beta experienced a login error:Login error: > name:TypeError > message:Value undefined (result of expression document.body.insertAdjacentHTML) > is not object. Bug 7633. I just read this announcement: http://ymailupdates.com/blog/2008/02/13/all-new-yahoo-mail-arrives-for-safari-3/ Does this mean that this but can be marked as fixed? All dependent bugs are marked as fixed. So I am going to mark this as "RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED". Please reopen if you think, there are still some Yahoo specific bugs. Thanks! |
