This tests seems to have a regression in 1.0.

Created attachment 166852 [details] Changed test to check position values bigger than 0 when seeking GStreamer is not reporting any 0 position, just seeking backwards as asked, so it makes sense to consider that case too not to get a timeout in the test.

After talking to Martin, it seems that the test objective is checking if the media plays backwards to the end, meaning 0 position. I had misunderstood the test. I'll check that from that perspective then.

It looks like there is a problem in GStreamer 1.0 with the emission of EOS. Filed https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=686224
