Bug 98008 – Instead of logging in http://www.outlook.com jumps back to login screen

When I attempt to login to my Windows Outlook mail (formally hotmail) instead of logging me in the screen jumps back to the login screen. 

In gory detail this is what happens

1. I enter http://www.outlook.com
2. This redirects to:
https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&ct=1349085920&rver=6.1.6206.0&sa=1&ntprob=-1&wp=MBI_SSL_SHARED&wreply=https:%2F%2Fmail.live.com%2F%3Fowa%3D1%26owasuffix%3Dowa%252f&id=64855&snsc=1&cbcxt=mail
3. I enter my credentials.
4. The URL bar briefly shows:
https://login.live.com/ppsecure/post.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&ct=1349086049&rver=6.1.6206.0&sa=1&ntprob=-1&wp=MBI_SSL_SHARED&wreply=https:%2F%2Fmail.live.com%2F%3Fowa%3D1%26owasuffix%3Dowa%252f&id=64855&snsc=1&cbcxt=mail&bk=1349086050
5. Then returns to the login screen:

This occurs on midori, but not on firefox.  I tested using /usr/lib/webkitgtk-1.0-0/libexec/GtkLauncher and got the same result, so tend to exclude midori as a factor.

For the formality the expected result was that I could login.

I have an Asus EEEPC running lUbuntu 12.04 with the latest updates and including midori and webkit installed from ppa repository:
