http://www.quirksmode.org/bugreports/archives/safari/index.html "Handling of innerHTML in XHTML pages (with MIME type application/xhtml+xml) is weird. Getting works, setting doesn't. Test page. http://www.quirksmode.org/dom/tests/innerhtmltest.xhtml Workaround is not included. Reported by ppk."

works in latest nightly, closing as worksforme.
