When Safari 5.2 or Safari 6 beta is installed in OS X 10.7.4, the WebKit executable lauches that version of Safari instead of the WebKit nightly build (although you wouldn't know by looking at the app icon in the Dock). This has been the case since the first release of Safari 5.2 beta. The only workaround I found is to downgrade to Safari 5.1.* whenever I want to test the nightly builds.

Yes, nightly builds only work with released versions of Safari. It is not appropriate to discuss unreleased Apple software in the context of WebKit project.
