If you drag the scrollbar of a textarea on the EFL port, you also end up selecting the text underneath. I'll cook up a test.

If this is for EFL port, add '[EFL]' prefix to bug title.

Yes, it's EFL. (In reply to comment #0) > I'll cook up a test. This is less useful than I thought as the mock scrollbars pass the test just fine -- the problem only exists with the overlay scrollbars EFL uses.

Someone kind of duplicated this report in bug 92494. I think the current behavior was added to the default theme by design. I CC'ed a few people who were around when the default theme was written in the other bug who might be able to explain if that's indeed the case.

Hi Jussi, it seems that you are interested in passing the scrollbar layout test and you do not want to care this patch anymore. If so, I'd like to follow this in bug 92494(https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92494).

Closing this bug because the EFL port has been removed from trunk. If you feel this bug applies to a different upstream WebKit port and was closed in error, please either update the title and reopen the bug, or leave a comment to request this.
