1) a copy of existing shorthand appears in element style section when I change border's value in Metrics pane 2) the changed value is reverting to the original value almost immediately (in shorthand and in Metrics pane) 3) the new value is visible in the expanded list of longhands but has no effect

Closing as invalid, as this bug pertains to the old inspector UI and/or its tests. Please file a new bug (https://www.webkit.org/new-inspector-bug) if the bug/feature/issue is still relevant to WebKit trunk.
