It is an old regression, and it seems nobody is interested in fixing it.

It's just not true. I asked several times for help from the Qt side, If I get none, I can't do anything.
You could post less snatchy comments.

Also the backtrace you passed is of no help, if you're just including the root where the assertion happens.

My previous sarcasm wasn't addressed to you, but Qt folks, who are never interesed in fixing bugs. I always cc Qt/SVG experts, Zoltán and Reni to Qt/SVG bugs, but they never answer. :( If Qt folks aren't interested in fixing assertions, just leave it unresolved. I regularly skip the failing tests, and everybody will be happier. ( Once the test coverage will hit zero. :) )
