Currently threaded animation is hidden behind a flag (--enable-threaded-animation). This flag will need to be removed once this feature is ready to go live.

Seems like --enable-threaded-animation should become --disable-threaded-animation in the near term. This is consistent with a conversation that I had with vollick@.
