Bug 7848 – REGRESSION: IPB Forums Broken

Nightlies since Mar.16 seem to have broken the following sites:

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php
http://www.purepwnage.com/forums/index.php

They begin to load and upon completion they just display the background color (either plain white or plain black). Both sites use Invasion Power Board (haven't tried other IPB Foums yet).

I have reproduced this numerous times using Nightlies from Mar.16, 17 and 18 (Current v. 417.9.2)

The first site loaded OK for me, but with the second one, I got an assertion failure:

ASSERTION FAILED: !inWrite (/Users/ap/WebKit/WebCore/khtml/html/htmltokenizer.cpp:1663 virtual WebCore::HTMLTokenizer::~HTMLTokenizer())

Which implies that this is yet another regression from the document.open() fix in bug 4395.

Whatever someone tried to fix, It also broke backgrounds on vBulletin forums.

This is using v.417.9.2, Latest Nightly.

Out of the 4 URLs provided thus far, I'm seeing the problem on just http://www.purepwnage.com/forums/index.php.
