Description Michele Balistreri 2006-03-12 09:55:17 PST
This site is displayed fine, but trying to login from any place in the site just brings you to the homepage and locks you there. If you manage to make a link work you see that your sessions ended and you must login again. I've had this problem since version 2.0 of safari but no version of the 1.x branch was affected. No message is given on the console.

This sounds a lot like Bug 3512 and Bug 6728.

1. Does this web site work in MSIE 6 or Firefox 1.5?

2. Are there cookies set for a subdomain (but not the full domain) when you log in? For example, are cookies set for .190.it while redirecting to a hostname with four parts like foo.bar.190.net?

I meant foo.bar.190.it, not foo.bar.190.net.

1. Works perfectly with Firefox 1.5. Couldn't try MSIE 6 but i assume it works.

2. Going to "Show Cookies" in Safari preference's i can see cookies set from .190.it and the URL in the home pages are all four parts url like you supposed, for example you get to www.areaprivati.190.it, www.shop.190.it etc.

This will have to wait for a fix to Mac OS X system libraries.
