QT Movies fails to render at
http://www.axiotron.com/index.php?id=videos
. The sites uses EMBED element which fails to display the plugin content. The page renders correctly in Safari 5.1.1 under 10.7.2 but fails to render on Webkit TOT
r104266
1) Launch Safari 5.1.1 + WebKIT TOT
r104266
2) Go to
http://www.axiotron.com/index.php?id=videos
3) Notice the videos on this page fails to display 4) Launch Safari 5.1.1 under stock webkit on 10.7.2 and notice QT movie rendered I have a simple EMBED test case that shows this issue. Perhaps EMBED is no longer supported in latest Webkit but wanted to file just in case :)

Of course the QT movie renders in the browser window if I simply load the movie directly at
http://www.axiotron.com/uploads/media/Quicktorial_KOPERNIKUS_PS_S_02.mov
. So this issue is related to EMBED.

I cannot reproduce this. Will it still happen if you put aside ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist and restart Safari?

Alexey, I can still reproduce it in Safari 5.1.1 + Webkit TOT
r104266
after I put aside the plist mention and reset Safari. QT plugin installed is version 7.7.1. Basically the QT movie fails to rendered ( for me ) using the site or sample HTML file. It works fine on this same 10.7.2 system running Safari 5.1.1 on default system webkit.
