The Dojo toggle buttons on the buttons test page [1] do not emit object:state-changed:pressed events (or any other state-changed events) when their state is toggled. [1] http://archive.dojotoolkit.org/nightly/dojotoolkit/dijit/tests/form/test_Button.html
