Please be more specific about what is not working.

I too have been unable to display PDFs on websites. I'm not the original reporter.

for example:

http://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Documents/Manifesto.pdf

I've tried it on all sorts of sites, including my own local web server.

I get a blank black window where the PDF should be. This is using Preview

It used to work up until a few weeks ago.

I tried selecting Adobe Reader 10 as the default PDF application. That led to a plugin crash in Safari, which I reported to Apple.

I'm using Safari Version 5.1.5 (6534.55.3, r115846) on OS X 10.6.8

That's likely a different and newer issue, either bug 85275 or bug 85427 (the latter has been fixed today).

Since we never got a response from the original reporter, I'm going to close this as INVALID. If you still observe issues with PDFs using a nightly newer than r115910, please file a new bug.

With r115930, todays nightly, I still get a grey-black window when displaying PDFs

Hrm. OK, please file a new bug about that.
