Since the Safari 5.11 and also the new Safari 5.12 OSX update, the Safari OS-window behaves much slower than the 5.10 version if you resize it or use the scrollbar to scroll. This effect is clearly visible. There must be a rapid slow down since 5.11 in the code. Please fix this. I hoped the 5.12 update will resolve it, but it's still too slow, I will go back to 5.10...

Sorry I meant 5.05. Safari 5.05 is the last smooth animating version.

Without specific examples, there's not really much we can do here.

Due to lack reduction and also Safari has evolved a lot and hardware has also improved. So I think we can safely close this as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX'. Please reopen if you have specific example based on Safari 16 etc.
