Description Zan Dobersek 2011-11-11 12:08:14 PST
This meta bug serves as an overview of all the bugs trying to improve the security-related APIs.

Some of the goals:
- policy decision requests for displaying and running insecure content
- Implementation of various security-related functions in FrameLoaderClient (which in most cases means exposing signals)
- getting more tests working through implementing these goals

I'm also thinking of writing to the mailing list, asking for opinions on what the users of the port think is missing.

Given the focus is now shifting towards WebKit2 APIs and WebKit2 in general, meaning new API additions to WebKit1 don't really make sense, I'm willing to close this bug as a WONTFIX.

I'll do so after I get some additional thumbs-ups in agreement.

Closing the bug as a WONTFIX due to reasons outlined above.
