What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Visit Google Reader 2. Have "Comics Curmudgeon" in your feed 3. Scroll so a comic is around the middle of the screen 4. two-finger-scroll horizotnally What is the expected result? It scrolls in one piece What happens instead? Scrolls piecemeal. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Attached a screen movie showing what I'm seeing.

Per comments in the chromium bug this also happens in WebKit nightlies using Safari. Quite an unusual effect.

Probably compositing/tiled layer stuff.
