As mentioned in email, I suggest that you place the instance of FontCachePurgePreventer at a higher level in the call tree. For the backtrace you provided, I suggest you want an instance in WebFrameImpl::contentsPreferredWidth(). It is quite likely that you will need instances in other methods at the same level.
