Summary iFrame selection bug in DIV overflow: hidden
daniel
Reported 2011-09-25 23:52:29 PDT
When putting an iFrame inside of a PARENT DIV set with overflow:hidden; and when this PARENT DIV has other child elements (such as other DIV's that are not seen), when selecting the contents of what is inside of the iFrame and you drag the selection (for example to the very bottom), it will continue to cause the PARENT DIV with the overflow:hidden to scroll down to the other contents, this should not be happening. This does not happen with other web browsers, only webkit based browsers. This bug can be replicated with: - Webkit Nightly (r95925) - Safari 5.1 (7534.48.3) - Chrome 14.0.835.186 All under OSX 10.7.1 Lion and Windows 7. An example can be seen here: http://system-zero.com/webkitbug/

This test case URL is gone and not exist even on Wayback Archive - https://web.archive.org/web/20140806214746/http://system-zero.com/webkitbug/ We can't test it to reproduce and if we still have this bug, we might have newer bug reports with test case. Since it was never confirmed, I am marking this as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX'.
