To reproduce: 1. Go to http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/navigation/#section=Resource%20Types&topic=Xcode%20Tasks 2. Search for "Xcode" and make the yellow find indicator appear 3. Scroll the page The yellow indicator remains in place as the page scrolls beneath it. It should disappear. This didn't happen in Safari with WebKit1, though of course that code lives in Safari itself.

This bug still exists in Safari Version 14.0.3 (16610.4.3.1.7), Safari Technology Preview Release 123 (Safari 14.2, WebKit 16612.1.7.10), and the WebKit MiniBrowser built from source. I've tested on macOS 11.2.3 on an M1 Mac, as well as macOS 10.14.6 on an Intel Mac. The bug only occurs if I use my Apple Mighty Mouse with scroller. It doesn't occur if I use my MacBook Pro built-in trackpad. It does occur on my MacBook Pro with the Mighty Mouse plugged in. See attached screenshot searching for "CSS" on https://webkit.org/
