Summary No loading feedback when clicking a link within a frameset

I noticed this starting with Safari 5.1 that if I'm clicking a link that's within a frameset and it loads a page that may take a bit longer to start like a heavy php/mysql generated page, there's no visible feedback that the page is loading at all which makes you think you didn't click right and then you click again when you don't have to. I think previously with Safari 5 you'd see the tab progress spinner and maybe the blue url progress bar when clicking links like this. I definitely no there was some form of feedback otherwise it would have bothered me then as well. Don't know if this is a Webkit fixable issue or a Safari developer issue.

Just updating that Safari 5.1.1 doesn't change the lack of loading feedback.

Noting that loading feedback is still missing under 5.1.2 and latest nightly.

Safari 5.1.3 brings nothing new to the table.

No change with Safari 5.2. I guess this is not a big enough issue.

We don't have test case or reduction or even URL to reproduce this issue. Additionally 'frameset' is used rarely these days on the websites. So I am going to mark this as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX' (never got confirmed). Please reopen with testcase or URL, if it is reproducible.
