The tests included in SunSpider have been essentially unchanged since version 0.9 was first introduced in December, 2007. (They received a very minor update in version 0.9.1 in April, 2010.) These tests run orders of magnitude faster today than they did in 2007. We should consider updating SunSpider to include tests that take longer to run in today's modern JavaScript engines. See also:
