I think this is a chromium issue and possibly not involving WebKit at all. It appears to have regressed in the past 24 hours.

Confirmed that it's a chrome patch that breaks things. There's nothing WebKit-related about the regression, so closing this bug. We can track the failure in http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=79507
