TO REPRODUCE: 1. Load
http://bugzilla.opendarwin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3609
2. Change Safari window size such that horizontal and vertical scrollbars appear 3. Load
http://www.google.com
4. Hit 'Back.' Notice that the horizontal scrollbar for the bugzilla page has disappeared. Notice, in contrast, that the vertical scrollbar is unaffected and displays as normal. 5. Hit 'Reload.' Notice that the horizontal scrollbar is back. FYI, I tested with TOT and the latest update, and this does not appear to be a regression.

Reproduces in TOT. It would be most helpful to have a layout-test style reduced test case for this however. It should be possible to build an automated test for this.

I believe vicki was also working in this area recently, and may have a comment or two.

It's true that when I think of back/forward problems, I think of myself. But when I think of scrollbars disappearing, I think of Beth!
