Hi,
  I'm using Windows Cairo port of WebKit.When I try to open a video directly in Winlaucher by specifying its path (eg. http://localhost/media/video.mp4) nothing plays.The same videos play in all other browsers...safari,chrome,firefox,opera.The plugin I have installed is Quicktime.

Mass closing plug-in bugs, as plug-in support has been removed from WebKit.

Please comment and/or reopen if this still affects WebKit in some way.
