Summary
Downlevel-revealed Condition Comment Parsing
David
Reported
2011-02-06 21:54:55 PST
Webkit based browsers don't appear to parse Downlevel-revealed conditional comments as other rendering engines. See
http://linuxnet.ca/cc.html
and compare to how it's rendered in Firefox and Opera.

I am sorry that I wrongly posted a patch to a different bugzilla entry. Please ignore it.

This is not a valid technique, Safari behavior matches HTML5 and Firefox 4 beta. The test case is actually invalid HTML, see <
http://validator.nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Flinuxnet.ca%2Fcc.html&parser=html5
>.
