If you load the LayoutTests/svg/css/composite-shadow-text.svg test and select the text, you'll see that we shadow the selection as well as the text, which seems wrong.

It is wrong. Niko and me noticed this during a presentation. I fear that this won't be easy to fix. We filter all paint phases, even the phase for selecting texts.
