Summary [Qt] Calibre app Webkit bug when copying cyrillic text

Reported 2011-01-15 13:21:16 PST
Hello! The bug is in Mac app called Calibre. It's book-reader app. What really annoys me is that i can't copy and paste anything from E-book-viewer text when It is in Russian (cyrillic). In fact I can do It but the text I've pasted becomes nothing but question marks. When I try to paste English text (latin) everything okay. The guy in calibre bug report service said this "This is a bug in Qt Web Kit?, the graphics toolkit calibre uses. You should report it to Nokia. http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa" What do you say? Hope for your answer soon!!

Please follow http://trac.webkit.org/wiki/QtWebKitBugs when reporing bugs. (Missing keywords and title prefix). Could you attach a file with cyrillic test we could test on? That could be an encoding problem, do you know how the file is encoded?

(In reply to comment #1) > (Missing keywords and title prefix). I meant missing "Qt" keyword (QtTriaged is supposed to be added by us) :)
