screenshot after reverting Originating issue is QT-4328 set to block releases. When reverted the underlying mobile theme looks messy on N8 with OpenVG backend. There is visible drawing artifacts.

This should block which release? 2.1 or 2.2?

Are you asking me ? :) Regression is in 2.1 so for me it would seem obvious choice to revert it there but then it breaks Maemo (source of regression). If this is not fixed in 2.1 it could be hot-fixed in QTP 2.1 branch to allow testing of weekly releases to continue and move fixing of this to 2.2.

Ok I had interesting testing round. Part 1 The black transparent background issue in with OpenVG backend N8 W49 and W48 image shows this issue. Issue is gone in W50 image with no changes to QtWebkit2.1 ... So sorry for the noise I guess :S Waiting for confirmation, but don't go reverting anything without me getting back to this. Part 2 Drawing artifacts using OpenVG backend If I call "QtTestBrowser -graphicsystem openvg" you will see the corruption in drawing of the edges that are visible in the screenshot after reverting. If I call "QtTestBrowser -graphicsystem raster" you don't get those artifacts and everything looks as it should be.

As the original problem is not seen in Wk50 release, removing this error from the blocker list for Qtwebkit 2.1 release.
