Description Jyrki Wahlstedt 2010-12-20 06:05:53 PST
The item URL e.g. http://www.guido-m-klemisch.de/deutsch/floeten/AL_5-Den-Frame.htm (this is the item of Denner alto recorder)

The error can be seen, if one does not click anywhere on the page, but uses the arrow keys to go down (also up), then the bottom is duplicated, going up (or down) basically erases the page content

Is this something you see only with nightly builds (i.e. a regression)? Could you please describe the problem in more detail?

What I'm seeing with Safari/WebKit 5.0.3 on Mac OS X is that an frame is scrolled when pressing an arrow key, which seems to be correct behavior.

Result of moving with arrow keys at URL

This is the result, not expected.

PS I'm sorry, but I have not checked with the "official" Safari, will do, if the nightly build crashes (doing this during my normal day work), and this is WinXP (don't like it, but...), so OS X does not count!?

Nightly conveniently crashed, so checked this in basic Safari (5.0.3/WinXP), happens there also, so it is not a regression:(

I'm not able to reproduce any bad behavior in Safari 5.0.3 on Windows 7, but I'm not sure I understand the bug report correctly.

Could you please provide more detailed steps to reproduce?

Hmm,
maybe this is XP-specific, because I can reproduce this anytime on mine. But step by step:
1) open the URL showing the price list
2) click on Denner (showing the instrument)
3) press down arrow key
4) result is that some of the bottom area is duplicated upwards (I checked that this is not dependent on the window size, or the existence of the scroll bars, the behaviour changes a bit, but happens anyway)

PS happens on the English pages also,
 http://www.guido-m-klemisch.de/english/listen/ListenFrame1.htm ->
http://www.guido-m-klemisch.de/english/floeten/AL_5-Den-Frame.htm

and the instruments are wonderful, in case anyone is interested!

And this is probably my last entry before Christmas, so though this is not the most obvious place, I wish you all merry Christmas, and I hope you can enjoy the company of your loved ones, and can have some rest, thanks for all the work you have put into this project!
