Also filed as Radar: 8777598 Summary:Spell Check Underline is Missing when using WebKit embedded in an app Steps to Reproduce: Type misspelled text into a textarea. Expected Results:It should underline the misspelled text. Actual Results:Nothing visible happens. However, right clicking on the word does bring up the list of suggestions to correct the word. Regression:Happens in two of my apps, but also the MiniBrowser example code in Developer/Examples/WebKit. Notes: timothy@apple.com suggested I report it as a bug.

Interestingly, spelling underline also often fails in regression tests, see bug 51212.

Yes, it also fails under 10.6.
