Summary [Qt] Acid3 test fails with other font than dejavu sans
bernd.weimer
Reported 2010-12-06 02:59:29 PST
If for example vera.ttf is used as the system font and the "acid3.acidtests.org" page is loaded in a basic QWebView, the text "Acid3" is replaced by a black square when the test progresses. The problem was first encountered on Qt embedded 4.5.2, but the problem still exists on Qt/X11 4.7.1.

Please follow http://trac.webkit.org/wiki/QtWebKitBugs when reporing bug here. Does Qt renders the font correctly when using the same font size and properties outside WebKit? I doubt it is related to WebKit.

The font is rendered correctly, even on the acid3 test page, but only at the very beginning. Very soon after the test is running it turns to a black square. Actually the problem could only be reproduced on Qt/X11 4.7.1 with the Eurostile font, but on Qt embedded 4.5.2 with e.g. Vera.ttf, as well.
