Description Ridley Combs 2010-11-21 12:58:58 PST
If an HTML5 Media element is midway through playing, and the network connection drops (due to the computer going to sleep, or the wireless connection dropping), it should continue loading from when it leaves off when/if the network connection becomes available again.

I think it works now as intended.

I just did by testing 'Youtube' video in Safari and turned off Wifi while playing and got 'buffer' (loading) indicator and when turned back on, it continue after few seconds and in the past, I also turned off my laptop and some battery going off and on turning back, the video continues from where left.

I am marking this as 'RESOLVED WORKSFORME'. Please reopen, if there are cases, where this does not work with Safari.

I tested using Safari 17 and in past with Safari 16 as well.
