We could implement it as follows: - Status bar button on Elements panel toggles "contentEditable" mode of the entire page - Context menu that would allow toggling it on per-element basis, based on the element's state We could also do both. Thoughts? Worth it? Sounds like minimal effort with nice outcome.

No strong support for it, should be doable with extension. Closing for now.
