What is the problem? I can see the blurred button here (looks like in FF), but I'm running linux. Can you a screenshot please?

Dirk,

indeed ppc resembles ff or Opera,

however intel is a rounded rectangle with no filter.

easy to see when you know how...

I tried iphone latest build 4.0.2 with Webkit version 532.9 also fails,

if you have another testcase perhaps, not filters?

iOS doesn't have WebKit with activated SVG Filters, the same for the releases of Safari. The nightlies have Filters enabled and we also have tests to check it. But I also asked at #webkit and noone could reproduce your problem. Maybe you did not run a nightly. Can you check again please?

You're clearly not using the nightly, otherwhise the version string would have included the revision.
To double check I downloaded the last nightly on my own, and opened "About Safari". It says:
"Version 5.0.1 (5533.17.8, r65825)"

You are aware that you have to mount the downloaded image, and open the "golden safari icon"?

Zimmerman,

many thanks, domt often use this machine,
believe upgrade of safari led to confusion...

perhaps webkit and safari icons could be different?
as per minefield ff
