I've seen this issue on a bunch of pages in the latest nightly (r64156), though the behavior I observed was that reloading the page can change what is observed - sometimes it's ok, and sometimes it's not. One such page is: http://smdforum.stanford.edu/smdforum/memberlist.php though I never see this issue in Safari 5.01

The problem I reported in comment #2 no longer appears in r64246, but bug for which there is a reduction is still present, so I guess my bug was different and is fixed.

Safari, Chrome, and Firefox show the same rendering behavior for this test case. I do not believe any further compatibility issue remains.
