Browser demo wont display Japanese characters (http://www.amazon.co.jp). This is a regression from 4.6

This originated from http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-12411 but it turns out that it is actually a Qt bug. Re-opened original Jira issue.
