Bug 4060 – Issues adding attachments in WebCT Vista (online coursework)

* SUMMARY
Unable to add attachments to class assignments when using WebCT Vista (online learning system).

* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Visit http://vista.sbcc.edu
2. Click Log In
3. Use the following login name and password information:
(email vicki for this)
4. Click on "FRC Wong - draft"
5. There will be a horizontal box of items just above the text that says "You are currently on: Home 
Page" From this box choose "Assignments" a sub-menu will appear. From this menu click on "Go to 
Assignments Tool" 
6. Click on the title of an assignment (for example, click on "Assignment 2")
7. Click the "Add Attachments" button
8. Select the checkbox next to one of the items in the list on the right side of this window (for example, 
you can choose "24008 Folder")
9. Click on the "Add Selected" box. 

* RESULTS
Nothing occurs, it is supposed to attach the file and close the window.

* REGRESSION
This system works correctly with other browsers. Does not work in Safari 1.3 or Safari 2.0

* NOTES
This is causing problems for students of the Santa Barbara City College who take online coursework.

Iowa State University also uses WebCT, although I'm not sure if it's the same version or if it's even affected.

Heh, according to this web page (which has a pop-up to check your browser), Safari is either "non-
validated or unsupported" as of WebCT Vista(R) Version: 3.0.6.17.
