When browsing to web pages that contain very big pictures, the browsers will freeze and become unresponsive, while the tab with that picture is open. Closing that tab makes the browsers act normal again.
An example for this is the following picture (careful: 17 MB big, resolution:  9187×4387)

In rekonq and arora (with Qt 4.6.2) the site makes the browsers show the aforementioned behaviour. Konqueror (KHTML) and Firefox show the site fine, without freezing.
