Description Adrian Bunk 2010-05-25 14:21:18 PDT
1. Install the Java plugin (I used the sun-java6-plugin Debian package)
2. In Midori or Liferea, disable Netscape/Browser plugins in the preferences
3. Restart Midori/Liferea (just in case)
4. Go to http://www.freechess.org/Login/jin/applet.php
5. Click on "Login as Guest"
-> Java window pops up
Comment 1 Adrian Bunk 2010-05-25 14:22:29 PDT
Tested with the 1.2.1-2 Debian package on amd64.
Comment 2 Adrian Bunk 2010-09-23 12:41:02 PDT
Still broken with 1.2.4, seems to be fixed with latest trunk.

Not fixed for me, "icedtea-web-1.4.1/plugin/icedteanp/IcedTeaNPPlugin.cc" loads java with "enable-plugins" set to FALSE.
