BUG IS PRESENT taking an extreme dive back to april 1st at 56912 BUG PRESENT it appears that google must have changed soemthing that breaks all of webkit... abandoning testing in webkit. testing in Minefield v3.0.3 - FUNCTIONAL. I can personally confirm the existence of this bug too. I don't know exactly when it happened, because I'm not at all consistent in my use of Google Voice's site, but it wasn't happening to me several months ago. It does NOT happen in the current versions of Safari, nor Chrome on the Mac. I'm using WebKit on 10.5.8 Leopard, not Snow Leopard, as was the original reporter. So, this is not a Snow Leopard-specific bug either. Nor have I _noticed_ the same type of behavior on any site but Google Voice. This bug appears to only occur when you click a link that "reveals" part of the page in their interface. The problem is determining whether that "reveal" is actually showing something that was there (but hidden) in the DOM, or actually replacing / appending to the content of a block. -- I *suspect* the latter, but without yet trying to trace the logic of their JS code I obviously can't state that with any confidence.

I suspect it's the same as
bug 39249
. Do you happen to have a semicolon in your password?

Thanks for the info. Does this still happen with the very latest nightly build, where
bug 39249
is fixed?

I don't have Google Voice to test, but in the video, I see that the link seems to be "javascript://". Definitely looks like
bug 39249
!
