Joe was just saying that you can use readline shortcuts in the inspector's js console. I tried this but found ctl-a did select-all, not beginning of line. Google Chrome 5.0.371.0 (Official Build 43900) dev WebKit 533.4 Gar, we should make it easier to identify the webkit rev quickly. It's probably about five days old.
