When loading the page http://camendesign.com/code/video_for_everybody in epiphany 2.29.92 and webkitgtk 1.1.90, the browser becomes very unresponsive, and the video play at roughly 2 spf (not fps).

This is on ubuntu karmic using epiphany and webkit from the PPA, and has been confirmed by community members.

Hi Alexander,

I just tried here on Debian Sid with Epiphany 2.30.6 and WebKitGTK+ 1.2.5 and that page indeeds slows down the browser. However scrolling and text-shadow support have recently been improved in WebKitGTK+ and this page displays fine with WebKitGTK HEAD. You can also try the 1.3.x version.

The video test page also displays fine in Epiphany on Sid here and playback is smooth. Can you try again please?

I can't reproduce this bug here with Epiphany/WebKitGTK+ master. Please reopen if needed!
