This bug report originated from issue QTBUG-5170 http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-5170 --- Description --- <p>Platform <br/> Linux <br/> Platform details <br/> Debian unstable with KDE 4.3.1 <br/> Compilers <br/> GCC <br/> Compiler details <br/> pre-compiled Debian packages </p> <p>==Reproduce== </p> <ul> <li>Open Konqueror 4.3.1 in a standard KDE 4.3.1 instance</li> <li>switch to using Webkit as rendering engine</li> <li>go to any site with a text field</li> <li>mark any text, e.g. an URL</li> <li>make sure the Konqui does not have focus</li> <li>middle click onto any text field</li> </ul> <p>==Result== </p> <p>a) If the text is an URL, Webkit might load &amp; display the site specified by the URL (does not always happen) <br/> b) nothing. It's as if you had not clicked </p> <p>==Expected result== </p> <p>The text should be pasted into the textfield, ideally without giving focus to the Konqui instance. </p>
