This bug report originated from issue QTBUG-5899 http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-5899 --- Description --- Hello Qt support
we have been noticing a number of issues with Qt plugins such as

1- PDFs are not being loaded in QtWebkit
2- Java is returning the wrong version browser Number so on some websites it requires upgrading the browser because it detects the wrong version number.

3- and last which is that QuickTime is not being loaded on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) even when the plug-ins option is enabled
on windows QuickTime works perfectly but on Mac it keeps on saying "QuickTime required. Free download"
i have tried the Qt Browser Demo made by Qt , it got the same issue (PLEASE, have a look at the attached screen shot taken from Qt browser demo)

i really need a fix for this or a patch so i can deliver my product to the client (regarding at least the 3rd issue that i have which is the QuickTime support on Mac)

thanks alot
--- Comments --- can i have a status update on this? our release is depending on this , can you please provide me with a time line or when this is expected to be fixed? thanks

With r55986, Qt 4.7: 1- Yes, PDF files fail to load: QtLauncher redirects to about:blank and says "Frame load interrupted by police change". Demo-browser says "Unknown error". Works in Safari. 2- Yes, Java doesn't load. Used http://www.javatester.org/version.html Works in Safari. 3- Quicktime plugin seems to load, but there is no picture. There is a time/progress indicator that moves forward, though. Works in Safari.
